Brewed For You Birthday/ Father’s Day Handmade Card

Hello stamping friends! Today’s card share features the Brewed For You Bundle, Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper, Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper, Whiskey Business Stamp Set, Bakers Twine Essentials Pack and the Elegant Faceted Gems.

The Brewed For You Bundle is a light hearted, playful set with many stamp images and dies to choose from. I used the beer glass images, fill stamps and dies for these cards.

The Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper is a gorgeous new black and white 12x12 paper pack. This paper is super popular right now on social media. I used it as the background for one of these cards.

Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper $12.00

The Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper is a bright and fun 12 x 12 paper pack from the Mini Catalog. With hearts on one side and a generic pattern in a light airy color on the other side of each sheet. I used one of the heart patterns to brighten up one of these cards.

Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper $11.50

The Whiskey Business Stamp Set is a much loved oldie but a goodie in my Stamp Room. I loved the sentiment “Cheers To You” from this set for these cards although I used it to make a background panel. To make the background panel, first I inked a panel with an ink pad and a blending brush and then I stamped this sentiment onto the panel repeatedly to make a background for the focal image( beer glasses). Lastly I splattered black ink on the panel using my Basic Black Stampin Blends Marker. Pro tip- keep your finger nails clear of the splatter zone. 🤣

Whiskey Business Stamp Set $19.00

The Bakers Twine Essentials Pack is a craft room staple here. I used the Black Twine and did some deconstructing. Deconstructing involves pulling the threads out of ribbon or twine. For these cards I pulled half of the threads out and set them aside. I then tied the other half around the card and used my Take Your Pick Tools pointed end to separate the rest and spread them out on the cards.

The Elegant Faceted Gems might not seem the most logical choice for a beer card. After inking, stamping and splattering ink onto the front panel, I didn’t want a gem that was overpowering to the design, but rather one that just added a little shine. The subtlety of the Elegant Faceted Gems made them the natural choice in this instance.

I grabbed an additional sentiment from the He’s All That Stamp Set and the A Grand kid Stamp Set for these cards. You could use a Father’s Day or birthday sentiment from any set you have to complete these cards.
