Brewed For You Masculine Cards

 Hello stamping friends! Today’s card share features the Brewed For You Bundle, some inking techniques and some paper tearing. 

The Brewed For You Bundle includes so many options for showing off the beer glasses! I have used two of them on these cards but there are many more! On the left card in the first picture I stamped the beer glass image and colored it with the Light Pool Party Stampin Blends marker. Next I filled the glass with beer using the two step stamp in the bundle and Crushed Curry ink. For the card on the right in the first picture I stamped the beer glasses image and colored them with the pool Part light Stampin Blends marker. Then I used crushed curry Cardstock that was cut and embossed by the dies in the bundle to “fill” the beer glasses.

I used several stamp sets for supporting sentiment’s on these cards: the Celebrating You Stamp Set and the He’s All That Stamp Set in addition to the Brewed For You Bundle.

I used a spritzer and a Pool Party Reinker to add color to the Basic White Cardstock layer on the left card. Then I used the Crushed Curry Ink Pad, Blending Brush and the Butterflies and Flowers Layering Decorative Masks to add a pattern on the same panel. These masks are retired but we have several current ones that would work just as well if you do not own these. 

For the card on the right I pulled one of the sentiments from the die cuts in the He’s The Man Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack. The dsp strip on this card is also from the same paper. 

The Brick & Motar 3D Embossing Folder lends the texture to the card front for both of these cards. Just for fun,  I also splattered black ink onto both of these card fronts using the Dark Basic Black Stampin Blends marker. When flicking ink from the marker on to the paper keep the rest of your surface area covered to prevent accidental spattering. Also be sure to keep your fingers and nails clear of this process.

I tore the left sides of my layers for these cards to add additional texture and visual interest. When tearing your card stock be sure to hold each side of the piece being torn by your thumbs and forefingers to give you additional control over the tearing. I Tear Cardstock against the grain to leave more of a “torn” or rough looking edge that shows more of the layers inside the Cardstock.
