Pansy Patch Fun Fold Handmade Card

 Hello stamping friends! Today’s card share features the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper, Pansy Patch Stamp Set, Lovely Labels Pick A Punch and the Basic Borders Dies to name a few of the products used in the making of this sample. 

The Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper is a gorgeous display of spring beauty captured on paper for your crafting pleasure. From gingham to leaves, flowers and stripes, this paper has it all. I used the paper to give the impression of a flower field behind my focal flowers. This gives the viewer more of a 3 D impression. The Pansy Patch Stamp Set features a delicious font that makes me so happy! This set contains 23 photopolymer stamps, six of which are sentiment stamps. The flower images are two step stamps that allow you to choose your ink colors to build various flowers. I used one of the many stamps for a basic hello greeting on a sentiment label for my card front and added a supporting greeting from the set to the inside panel as well. The Lovely Labels Pick a Punch was such a favorite of mine when it first came out because of its versatility. This punch allows you to build your own tags in 6 sizes and shapes to use as sentiment labels or embellish your cards. I used it to create a Fresh Freesia sentiment label measuring 1/2 by 3’ and I chose the rounded end with a little notch on either side to finish my label. This punch is $23.00 currently.

The Basic Borders Dies get plenty of love from me. I’m always intrigued by dies that allow you to change the basic composition of a card. In this sample I used a die( as shown in the picture)to cut the Evening Evergreen card base in two pieces at 3 3/4 and then cut down the remaining piece created by the first cut and placed it back to back on my card for a design element on my fun fold. The basic Borders Dies are $29.00.

The Square Vellum Doilies provide additional texture and detail to this design. I placed one of the doilies behind the focal image for this sample. These doilies are retiring soon and currently on sale for $4.00.

The Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon is such a favorite of mine! This is the only ribbon ( besides the linen thread)I have ever had to buy more than one spool of because I used a whole roll. I used the ribbon on this sample to cover the seam in my design where I glued the die cuts from the Basic Borders Dies back to back. This ribbon is retiring and on sale for $5.60 while supplies last.

The In Color Jewels are so gorgeous. If it sparkles, I’m in love and these jewels sparkle like crazy! I used the Evening Evergreen jewels in this sample to  provide centers for my flower focal images and then added a few to the designer series paper too,  because, why not? I have glitter issues. 🤣 these jewels are in sale for $5.60 while supplies last. 

The Bumblebee Trinkets are amazingly detailed tiny gold bumblebee’s that add a little elegance to any design. I thought these trinkets would be perfect for this card since the background panel looks like a field of flowers. These trinkets are on sale for $6.00 while supplies last.

Measurements:

Evening Evergreen card base 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 and cut at 3 3/4 with the basic borders dies. 

 The remaining piece of the card front created by the cut can then be used to cut another of the same design as the first( trim the remaing cut piece down to 1/2 inch)  and these two pieces should be glued back to back to create the design on the edge of the card front.
