Peaceful Christmas Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

 Hello stamping friends! Today’s card share features some quick and easy Paper Pumpkin Alternatives made using the Peaceful Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit, Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper and the Gingerbread & Peppermint Acrylic Shapes. 


The Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper features images that are large enough to be fussy cut and added to a card front as a design element. This is my favorite quick card making technique because it is so easy and looks so polished.

Peaceful Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit, Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper, Gingerbread & Peppermint Acrylic Shapes, Paper Snips, Simply Elegant Trim, Old Olive Classic Stampin Ink pad and the Matte Decorative Dots. 


Card 1- with the mittens- 

Shaded Spruce card base from the Kit 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4

Cinnamon Cider card layer 4 x 5 1/4

Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper find the old Olive pattern that looks like scalloped white icing. Cut it apart in (2) 1/2 x 3 3/4 strips and (1) 1 1/4 x 3 3/4 strip. Adhere the strips to the shaded spruce/ gingham layer from the card Kit. 



Cut the mittens from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper using the Paper Snips. Place dimensionals under the mittens to secure the mittens together and secure the ribbon to the card front. 

Wrap a length of the silver Simply Elegant Trim around your hand four times and cut the end. Pinching the middle of the trim tape it to your card front to hold it in place for the moment towards the lower left side. ( see picture) pull the dimensional backing off and place the mittens on top of the Simply Elegant Trim 



Stamp one of the labels from the Kit with a sentiment from the Kit in Old Olive Classic Stampin Ink. Place dimensionals under the label. Place the label on top of the mittens ( see picture for placement) 


The inside was stamped with a sentiment and images from the Kit using the ink spot that came with the Kit and the Old Olive Classic Stampin Ink Pad. The paper strip on the inside was a left over strip from the Designer Series Paper. 


Embellish using glue dots under the Gingerbread & Peppermint Acrylic Shapes. The Matte Decorative Dots come with a glue dot already attached. Use the pictures for placement if needed.
