Frightful Tags And Cutest Halloween treat box

 Hello stamping friends! Today’s treat box share features the Cutest Halloween Stamp Set, Frightful Tags Dies and the adorable Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper. 

Some holidays, like Halloween, lend themselves to treat packages and It’s always so much fun to give them out.  I put Hershey’s miniatures Halloween chocolates in the package but you can put anything you like. 

I wanted this treat package to be striking so I decided to use an ink blended panel for the back ground paper rather than Designer Series Paper. What do you think?

Measurements:

Basic Black Cardstock treat base 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 

Scored on the 8 1/2 side at 1’’, 4’, 5’, & 8’

Scored on the 4 1/4 side at 1’

For this next part I have provided a picture to refer to. 

Cut the tabs on the score lines under the 1’ scored line across( see picture)

When you score the last line at 8’ on the 8 1/2 side you are left with a score line at the 1/2 mark. Cut the tab at the 1/2 mark off. ( see picture)

Trim the corners of the 2 small tabs left per the picture 

Score with a bone folder on all the score lines

Fold the treat packaging in towards the center so you can see how it goes together then apply glue to the bottom tabs and use your bone folder inside the treat package to burnish the bottom giving the glue a minute to dry and reinforcing the seal. 

Basic Black Cardstock handles (you will need 2) 2 15/16 cut with the Layering Circles Dies of the same size- this is to be the outside of the circle- 2 1/8 Layering Circles Dies this is to be the inside of the circle. 

To ensure your handles are the same size use a piece of tape on either side of the circles to secure them ensuring that the circle formed by the dies will be equal all around. You will pass the circles through the die cut machine with the tape on. 

Refer to the picture above to see the appropriate placement for the handles. On the inside of the treat packaging you will glue the handles in directly across from each other using liquid glue so you have a few seconds to adjust them

Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper-pattern as shown in picture-(2 pieces) 2 3/4 x 3’ one piece of the DSP will go on the front and one on the back

Basic White Cardstock layer 2 1/2 x 2 3/4 inked with the blending brushes and ink pads. Starting at the bottom ink with Highland Heather, then use Mango Melody in the middle,  and finally ink with the Daffodil Delight on the top. 

Use the mini Stampin Dimensionals behind the owl’s eyes and color in the void with the Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin Blends Marker to give the owl yellow eyes

Basic Black Cardstock (2 pieces)1 1/4 x 1 1/4 cut with the fence from the Frightful Tags Dies. You will need two fences to span the width of the Basic White Cardstock 

Soft Suede Cardstock 1’ x 1’ cut with the owl from the Frightful Tags Dies 

Daffodil Delight Cardstock 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 cut with the circle from the Frightful Tags Dies 

Basic Black Cardstock 2 1/4 x 1 1/4 cut with the tree from the Frightful Tags Dies 

Basic White Cardstock 1/2 x 2 cut with the tag from the Frightful Tags Dies ( see pictures for reference because there is more than one tag in the set) stamped in Gorgeous Grape with a sentiment from the Cutest Halloween Stamp Set

Glue down all the cut pieces as shown in the pictures using the adhesive of your choice

Tie a bow on the front of the right handle using the Black & White Gingham Ribbon 

Tuck the tag up under the bow using a glue dot or some liquid glue 

Add your Calypso Coral Artistry Blooms Sequins as shown in the pictures
