Holiday Gift card/tag gift giving combo

         


          Hello stamping friends! Today’s card share features a card/tag combo made using the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper. This paper is currently free with any $50.00 purchase excluding tax and shipping. This post will be a two part post with today’s covering the tag recipe and tomorrow’s covering the card recipe.

The beauty of these tags is that they come together with minimal effort. these would be a great mass production project for the holidays! give your family and friends a heartfelt, handmade gift this year.






Supplies needed to make this tag:
Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Banner Year Stamp Set, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink pad, Soft Seafoam Classic Stampin Ink Pad, Fresh Freesia Classic Stampin Ink Pad, Basic White Cardstock, White Organdy Ribbon, Metallic Mesh Ribbon, Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack and the In Color Jewels.

if you don't have every product here, no problem, just substitute something from your stash.




Measurements and basic directions:
Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper cut with the largest scalloped edge Tailor Made Tags Dies 4’ x 2’
Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper striped Pattern cut with the largest straight edge Tailor Made Tags Dies so the stitching will be continuous and then cut down to 1 1/2 x 2
Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper Soft Seafoam Trees Pattern stamped with a sentiment from the Banner Year Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and cut down to 2 3/4 x 1/2 and then flagged on the ends
Basic White Cardstock cut with the largest scalloped edge Tailor Made Tags Die and glued to the back of the first tag to make it sturdy and provide a place to stamp the to and from
After you glue the tags together thread the ribbons through both of the tags together to provide additional structural support to your new tag
The holly berries and leaves were stamped using the Banner Year Stamp Set and fussy cut just as the penguin was fussy cut from the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper. I just love this paper!
